WHAT TO WEAR TO A SPRING/SUMMER WEDDING

The wedding season has officially started and my family has entered the statistics with two nieces getting married this month. I bet your mailboxes are starting to fill up with invitations for events like this and now you may be questioning yourself on what to wear for a spring/summer wedding.

The good thing about weddings this time of the year is that you can relax a little bit on the formality of wearing something that is too dressy if you are a guest and you can totally invest your money on florals and vibrant colors and on a more casual silhouette.

There are not many rules I follow when it comes to what wear on a spring/summer wedding other than avoiding any color that a bride might wear such as ivory, beige, and the classic white. I also really avoid wearing black as some people consider it a bad luck color that does not fit a happy event like this, although, many men wear black suits (It’s just a personal rule that I follow and you can call me crazy if you want).

Simple, right? Not so much! Finding the perfect dress can be tricky. That is why I rounded up some affordable spring/summer wedding guest dresses you can wear for all the year round.

Let me talk then about this dress I am wearing in my niece’s wedding. A lovely tie cinches the waist and its wrap design is super elegant and sexy and at the same time modest. The pink colored stripes are my favorite part on this dress as they have a very soft and bright rue plus the print really helps you to look taller and skinnier. The ruffle details on the sleeves are darling!

Although, it was an evening event I did my best to keep my accessories simple with my new obsession, a headband with a knot that is much on trend right now and my go-to pump shoes and pink earrings.

If you’re still on the hunt for the perfect dress to wear to a spring/summer wedding, I am sharing a few more options below. Enjoy it! Beijos!
