Weekly Recap + Weekend Spring Sales

The past week was filled with a lot of work in the yard here at my house by the husband plus a couple of cozy outfits that I will share with you right here in this post. In times of in-door activities, nothing is better to make us feel blessed than knowing that we can rely on the advent of the internet to keep up with our lives during these days. The internet makes it possible to home-school, do groceries, and even continue reading our favorite blogs and find some good deals and style inspirations for the season.

As the quarantine goes on strong and many establishments are closed we can bring the stores we love to us at just one click of a button. Most stores are now offering huge discounts plus free shipping and returns. Some stores may have some delays on shipping but it’s still worth taking advantage of the deals like never seen before.

This past week I tried Shein for the first time. If you haven’t heard about them before let me tell you that they have very affordable prices and they simply keep upping the game with items that fit the current trend.

As a trial, I selected a few tops and I couldn’t be any happier with my purchase. They all fit true to size and have great quality. One of my most commented items on Instagram last week was the Flounce Sleeve Blouse. The soft blue color is stunning and it’s super classy. This blouse can definitely be dressed up with pencil skirts, trousers, and high heels or down with a pair of white jeans, mules, or wedge sandals as I did here.

Sometimes all we want are just easy outfits that can make you feel classy without losing functionality and comfort and in my opinion, nothing is better for that than a pair of white jeans. Abercrombie is always the store that I refer to when buying high-rise jeans, in fact, they not only have this option but also my favorite one, the ULTRA HIGH RISE JEANS. I prefer the ultra version because of my body shape (in other words my booty) that makes the high rise pants look more like a mid-rise and the mid-rise look like low-rise. These pants fit TTS and the length is perfect for a short girl. I am wearing a size small, short length.

Another great item that got lots of comments on IG is this Tiered Ruffle Dress by Universal Thread. It has an oversized fit and a perfect length for short girls. This dress is super breezy and the fabric is amazingly soft. It features side pockets and it’s lined inside, however, as the sleeves have a wide cut I say wear a nude cami underneath it to match your skin color.

Two other items of high popularity are these two bags. The clear bag never ceases to amaze me how well it goes with everything. It’s a classic that can be easily transitioned from season to season.

The Tote bag that is a dupe of the Neverfull From Louis Vuitton is a great option for those who don’t want to open over 1k on the original. It is good quality and fits easily a large wallet, cell-phone, and everything else you can think of.
