Tablescape Essentials for Your Thanksgiving Gathering
If you are anything like me then the thought of Thanksgiving dinner is incredibly exciting. One way that I love to set this mood for our guests is by setting up beautiful tablescapes, which can make them feel cozy and comfortable while they’re in my place!

A fall tablescape is a perfect way to celebrate autumn. Inviting family and friends over for a traditional Thanksgiving meal or hosting an intimate dinner party can be a great occasion to show off your creativity. If you know me you may already be aware that I never waste an opportunity to put my brain into creating things, especially when involves fashion and home decor.

When I first thought of my table set up I had as a goal to make it usable for a busy family with little kids that has not much time to spend on a tablescape project. In the end, my table seems very well decorated but yet simple enough to make anyone welcome. Well you know, I have two little kids that would not understand what to do before a fancy setting while my husband follows the motto: “the simpler, the better.”

I always start my tablescapes with a pretty table runner. This one from Target is great for fall and adds a lot of texture and contrast to the whole decor. Best of all due to its neutral color palette, you can use it all year long! I always have for goal to find pieces like this chevron print table runner that is so versatile.

Following the runner, I added two 6-foot garlands from Michaels. To fit my table, all that needed to be done was twist both of them together. Next, I opened up a bit of space between each one for some decorative pumpkins! I made this arrangement more festive by inserting this seasonal decoration into it too – they’re perfect for autumn harvest dinners.

The Maize Natural Round Placemats are great for this time of the year! It comes in a set of four and fits perfectly the aesthetic of Autumn.
Next, you can layer a charger, under your plates which I preferred not to for the same reason already mentioned above. It’s a good practice to opt for white or cream plates because you can easily switch out things for the season. I recommend adding in a gold napkin ring or a printed napkin.

Next, you can layer a charger under your plates which I preferred not to for the same reason already mentioned above. It’s a good practice to opt for white or cream plates because they are easy to switch out things with during different seasons and food always looks best plated on its own solid background if there’s no decoration attached – plus gold napkin rings will make any table pop!

Or try something more subtle like printed linen cloths instead of shiny plastics at your next dinner party; these have an old-world vibe that’ll really set off those elegant dishes properly served up just right by using them as placemats too
I like to mix things up when it comes to plating food. One way I can do this is by using chargers under my plates, which I avoided today for the same reason already mentioned above. To keep things interesting but still cohesive across the table I opted for white plates (white/cream backgrounds always look best)

In addition, I opted here for gold napkin rings and silverware. A touch of gold champagne in any decor conveys elegance when used properly. But you know, always do whatever gets you excited. 😉
From there, layer in a candelabra set and tall candles. You want to put these in the center of the table. Then I’d finish off the look with glasses, dishes, and a few other seasonal decors!
I hope this helps to inspire you to create your own fall tablescape! Happy Thanksgiving. God bless you all!
