Resort Wear // Vacation Style

I doubt you will find someone that loves summer more than I do. Lucky me, I fell in love with a guy from Utah and have been living here since our first day of marriage. Do not take me wrong, I like Utah (in the summer, winter not so much) but, sometimes it’s just hard to wake up in a snowstorm. However, it’s also hard to imagine living anywhere else.

Resort Wear Favorites

Thankfully, we have pretty good sunny days during the summer and I really can’t wait for that. Thinking of my favorite season I have selected in this post all the things that will be trending this summer and I am more than likely to try them out. So, here you will find my favorite picks for resort wear 2019 that I bet you will love too.

I can’t tell you how much I love the number one of my swimsuit list, specially because it carries my youngest daughter’s name, Amelie (oh, I love so much how sweet it sounds every time I say her name). Polka dot is definitely a timeless trend and you can never go wrong with this print. I  have been obsessed with high rise swimsuits since last year when I bought my first set to travel to California. They are so comfy and conveys a lot of confidence as you don’t have to be concerned about any malfunction.

I can’t say in words how much I like the number two swimsuit. I love the baby blue color, print and its style, specifically. Off shoulders are super trendy now rather is in a blouse, sweater or beachwear. A thing that you will see a lot the next season is ruffle designs and of course this set carries it all.

Accessories

I couldn’t talk about resort wear and simply skip the accessories. So, a trend that I am seeing take over the jewelry world is tassel earrings. It’s amazing how texturized and colorful they can be.

Cover Ups

I have selected some of my favorite styles with differents prices. They are another hot items from last year that will continue to be a hit in 2019.

This hat has been a huge hit since 2017 and I don’t think it’s going to be any different this year. I own this hat myself and I love it.

Straw bag

Is there anything more “beachy” than a straw bag? I got this one from Amazon and I simply love it. Many stores have stocked up with huge collections and different styles of them. They go from square to round shapes and clutches. I find them perfect to wear during a vacation to the beach or with a summer outfit.

Dresses

It was kind of hard to find the perfect summer dresses. Maybe, I am just too picky when it comes to this subject. I finally found some that I really love and approve. I was thinking of fluttering dresses made with sheer fabric that could be both sexy and elegant but, still incorporate the subject summer into them.

From this collection is hard to say which one is my favorite but, if I had to pick one or two, I would say the Tiered Tassel Fringe Cotton Maxi Dress, just because of how wide the skirt is and it reminds me of a peaceful walk throughout the shore, while the sun goes down.

For an elegant and romantic dinner near a beach ( let’s say you are visiting an exotic place), I would go with the Chiffon Maxi Dress. It is beautiful, fluttering, sexy and breezy. It has a lovely V-neck and a gorgeous cape in the back that goes along with longs sleeves that ties up at the wrist. It can be worn in a exotic vacation or in a Gala event. I love how versatile this dress is. All the reasons to love it.
