One Room Challenge – DIY Nursery on a Budget (Week 2)

 

After a long week of painting and repainting, I finally got to the final stage of the process. Now I am filling up the wall with all small little flowers and leaves I planned. You may thing I’ve finish the job but, I am now in the process of adding some gold tones to the flowers. As I started doing that I noticed how amazingly bright it will be as the sun hits the wall every morning.

The End of The First Week

I ended up this week of the renovation by having my husband installing the new baseboards and trims in Amelie’s bedroom. The flat and large baseboards I chose look gorgeous with my design and the Craftsman door’s trim give just the perfect final touch the room.

The Final Results

This is how my former office looks now and I can’t believe I was able to create something so amazing. I can’t wait to see the bedroom all furnished and my baby enjoying her place.
