Nordstrom Sales Plus Weekly Recap

I can’t believe we have been in lockdown for almost 3 months. I honestly can’t wait for all this to be over so we all can go back to our normal life. Life has been harder lately but, we can say that we are coming out of this stronger than ever and most importantly, we’ve learned a lot that simple daily routines such as buying some trivial products or going to our favorite restaurant are nothing more than a privilege that sometimes we take for granted.

I’ve taken these days to read and read a lot, learned new things in regards to my blog, improved some skills. After all, I think these days having been confined at home was worth every second. What do you all think?

While Summer is now here, I am slowing building up my wardrobe for the season, anxiously waiting for the first opportunity to have some outdoor adventures. Although loungewear has been basically my quarantine uniform, I’ve been eyeing some great deals out there that I will be slowly revealing throughout the next few weeks.

Let’s start with my beloved store Nordstrom this week. I’ve never seen as big of a promotion from Nordstrom before! The clearance sale has prices as low as $15 on some items and discounts up to 60% off. It’s a great opportunity to stock up on some basics from your favorite brands at Nordstrom. 

The sale is covering pretty much every area. From sports to dressy, and loungewear to special occasions, they got it all. If you are a guest of a Summer wedding and need the perfect dress you can certainly find some great deals during this sale. It’s worth checking out as you can always find some pearls like this dress. This is such a good basic dress and so flattering!

When wearing it I always prepare myself to inevitable which is to hear lots of compliments and answer the same question: “where did you get it from? With a solid color, you can add a moto jacket and heels or dress it down for running some errands or for simple summer activities with sandals or sneakers. It’s also available in black.

Let’s be honest, some of us have lived these past 3 months in pajamas, joggers, and sweatshirts. No shame, I am in the same boat. With all of the extra demands that have been added to our busy momma’s lives, such as homeschool, etc all we really need is to feel comfortable while diving into this ocean to-do list.

While navigating these changes, having the perfect work-from-home outfit is crucial whether you will be on Zoom conferences, calls for hours, or just need something functional that can help you to feel productive.

Another item that I was eyeing for quite some time was a jersey dress and I am happy that I found a couple of them at the Nordstrom Clearance Sale. The first one has a charcoal color and midsize length and ruched detail on the side.

The second one has an oversize fit and four-button plackets trim on the shoulders. It may need a slip as it can be a little sheer. They’re both comfortable and good enough to wear from summer through fall. I say the first charcoal dress fits TTS while with the second dress you may want to size down a number if you are in-between sizes.
