Mini Vlog – Family Easter Celebration
I decided that Easter would look a little different this year compared to 2020. Although we’re all still going through a worldwide pandemic, Utah is slowly bouncing back to its normal. Masks mandates will be lifted on April 10th and all businesses and schools are open. So more than enough reason to celebrate.
Easter is one of my favorite holidays and after a year pretty much confined at home, I wanted to give my kids a little bit of fun as the cases of Covid 19 drop in the whole state day by day. Therefore I planned a few activities to fill up our weekend with joy and gratitude for what we have.
Family Favorite – Trampoline Park
Our Saturday morning started with a special delivery from the Police Department. Thirty eggs were spread throughout our front yard and as you can imagine the kids were super excited. Later that day we took Marie and Amelie to our favorite family spot in the whole city, which is the Altitude Trampoline Park. I am so glad that they opened a branch here so close to our house! Playing there felt like going back to when I was a little kid. That being said no matter what your age is or mental health condition it’s impossible not to have fun there.
Sunday we had more egg hunts, sugar cookies egg decoration, Easter Movies, and most importantly, a lesson about the significance of the resurrection which with a flannel board story I got from Amazon I could help the kids visualize what happened almost 2.000 years ago. Well, I hope you all had an amazing Easter weekend as well, see you soon.
