How To Choose The Perfect Thanksgiving Day Look
Does it feel like the days are flying by? The month of October was so fast-paced, and now we’re ready for Thanksgiving! As I think about my family’s plans on Turkey Day every year, there is one thing that always strikes me – clothes. Whether you’re going casual or dressed up formally; it’s important to start planning on your Thanksgiving Day Look.

Well, after reading an article from StyleCaster last week about how everyone should have a preppy outfit planned out beforehand I decided to check out my options. Thinking about that as soon the family gathering starts people seek to take those family pictures that will cover their walls for years ahead, I did some research on simple and chich wardrobes for the event. Since it is such an occasion, I’d put a little bit of effort to find something nice but not too fancy-looking nor too ordinary.
So I found this dress at Target which is perfect for the occasion. Picking out the perfect outfit for such an event is always an invigorating experience! I love how the plaid print scream autumn and can be paired with high heels, mules, or booties. My go-to this time of year are suede booties that match well against those perfectly white and black colors – it’s like they were made just to wear together 🙂

When it comes to choosing your perfect look for the Thanksgiving dinner, there are a few things that you must consider. Think about what makes you feel comfortable? What look would you be confident wearing? Is the event indoors or outdoor where just walking around in heels would make your life impossible? Is any family pictures session part of the schedule?

Now that you’ve got all of your questions answered, I recommend trying on a few different options. To give you a hand I have listed here a few of my favorite clothes including this plaid dress that are $. I’d say size down a number or two. I am wearing a size x-small ( I usually wear small) and still feel like a could go down another number.

If you’re considering a midi dress I suggest choosing an ankle boot. However, if your dress hits above the knee, a knee-high or over-the-knee boot would look perfect and it’s actually super trendy this time of the year.
So I hope these tips will help you to find the perfect Thanksgiving outfit. See you soon.
