Garden Theme First Birthday Party Ideas
I’ve been so busy lately organizing and creating every decor and making a great part of the food that was served at my baby’s first birthday party that I had no time to post. Sadly the party is over and I have to find another obsession with which I can keep my mind busy. I tried my best to keep you guys updated on my social media, with every step of this party’s organization and I felt like I was doing great until the week before the event when I totally lost control of my time and things got a little stressful.

However, I am back now, to share with you guys some pictures of the event and mostly where you can find everything to make your own Garden Inspired Birthday Party and as always save as much as possible. Creativity is the key, no doubt!

Many of the table pieces such as the cake stand, carousel cupcake holder and trays you guys already know. I bought them from Afloral and Amazon. I had shared all the details on another post, How to Throw a Wonder Woman Birthday Party but, I will link everything again here to facilitate your lives. However, for a bit of inspiration on what to do for your little girl birthday party, I invite you to click on the above link and see for yourself a Superhero Inspired Birthday Party. Check the slide below by clicking on the images for more details on the products I used such as the cupcake holders and stands.

This year, I wanted to do something different. As I decided to do the party only two weeks ago I was aware that I couldn’t go nuts and overwhelm myself with too much to do on the decor. It had to be simple and beautiful! In the beginning, I was unsure about the color palette. I really didn’t want the boring super used “pink everything”. I wanted something bold and elegant!

I was visiting Target when some products inspired me to choose my favorite color, coral. I almost regretted choosing this color as there’s not much in terms of party supplies in that shade. At Hobby Lobby, for example, it was hard to find in their huge selection of flowers a couple of ones that had the hue I wanted until I found some little bouquet of Daisies. The color was stunning and the price even better. ($7.50 with 50% off). I was looking for a Eucalyptus Garland that surprisingly Hobby Lobby didn’t carry that day and then I decided for theLIVE OLIVE LEAF & MYRTLE GARLAND from Pottery Barn that was on sale.

As I mentioned before I already had the trays and cake holders that I bought for Marie’s second birthday party years ago, which I also used for Amelie’s Baby Shower, BEST BABY GIRL SHOWER INSPIRATION THAT IS CHEAP AND GORGEOUS. I added just two pieces more of the cake holders to my collection last year when Target was running a promotion of $5 a piece. To prop all of the ornaments up I always use a backdrop holder that I got from Amazon. It’s super useful and you can always cover it with balloons so the black metal won’t appear.

These two candy holders that I used to display two donuts trees are from Michael’s. I was not able to find the exact ones I used on their website but, here and here you can find some under great promotions.

Let me not forget to link here what we, the coadjuvants of the show wore the day of the party. My husband is a simple man that wears only what’s comfortable to him. Below you will find him wearing a charming pants from Express and Steven Madden Shoes. You will also find a similar to the Hawaii Button Up Shirt he’s wearing in the pictures here and here.
I am wearing, believe or not, a maternity dress from Asos paired with a
BCBGMAXAZRIA Pump Shoes. You will find two similar shoes here and here. (the only difference is that mine have strips). Mare is wearing an A-Line Dress – Cat & Jack™ Pink from Target

I could not talk about the party without mentioning the big little star that inspired everything of this, right? Well, my princess was too shy during the whole event however she enjoyed being held and cuddled from some of the guests. Amelie is wearing here a beautiful dress from Macy’s that is currently on promotion.

I am so happy to have been chosen by God to be the mother of this little angel. She is so calm, sweet, smart and sometimes silly. She always put smiles on my face even during the bad times. She’s for sure a blessing and a gift from heaven to all of us in my family
Stay tuned for the Smash Cake Photo shoot and if you have any question do not hesitate to ask. Beijos!
