As Australia continues its efforts to control the fires, many companies are banding together to contribute funds that are intended to help and repair communities that were affected by this disaster. The bushfires are devastating miles of wildlife and nearly 32,400 square miles were burned as of January 7, while 24 people lost their lives and 1,000 homes were consumed by the fires. How sad is that?!

While I am on vacation, I couldn’t simply overlook this horrific scenery of destruction that reminds me of the fires that recently affected my country when more than 906,000 hectares were burned in the Amazon Rainforest.

Australia Wildfire- Learn How You Can Help

With Australia still in the route of record heat for this year and summer is not close to an end, thus the fires likely to continue to spread. I decided to take a quick break from my vacation plans and put together a list of companies that are fighting this disaster by donating a portion or 100 % of their proceeds to groups such as WIRES Australian Wildlife Rescue Organisation and the Australian National Fire Authorities that support firefighters, communities, and wildlife and therefore if you want to help the cause by buying from them.

I also, have here a shortlist of groups that work tirelessly to relieve the suffering of those affected by the fire in the beautiful Amazon. I invite you to join this fight by donating any amount, no matter how large or small and make a difference to the animals and people in need in both countries.

As you may know, Australia is home to thousands of fashion brands that you probably wear and love. Many of which are working together to help the cause and you should too. This extreme trial will not end when the last fire goes out, instead, the worst is yet to come with the attempt of rebuilding communities and reforesting of fields that will probably take decades or centuries to recover. That is why donating any amount is so important for the people and animals that live in these burned forests.

So if you prefer to donate directly here’s a list with a few organizations that are working in combating this devastation. On the other hand, if you do not mind supporting the cause through ordering from a brand that you know just scroll down and click on the store’s name to be redirected to their websites and shop.
