Athleisure Favorites from Nordstrom

Starting a new year always puts me in the mood to get moving and adopt a few new healthy habits. It may be because of the diet offenses I did after all the holiday feasts but I’m always a little more motivated to work out after the new year starts.

As the New Year’s Resolution list just grows one item that it can’t be left out in my opinion is finding some comfortable activewear. Having the right athleisure always motivates me more to kick off the new year with the goal of healthy habits, well at least it motivates me a little bit more.

My normal workout routine usually consists of doing a 30 minutes Beachbody workout and ends with a 30 minutes walk. With that in mind, I usually go for a great pair of leggings like my favorite from Zella and a great top that is designed for the intensity of the routine I am doing that day. Considering I do a variety of 30-minute workouts each week, I find comfortable designs and bright colors to be my biggest motivators.

So let’s get started, shall we? I am so happy to introduce you guys to one of my favorite activewear brands that are perfect for those who like comfort as much as I do, Zella. When it comes to activewear the simpler the better, it’s also important to me that all of my bottoms are high-waisted. It helps to secure the muscles on a stomach with Diastasis Recti like mine. Also, I love how high-rise waistbands make everything look so sleeker.

It seems like a lot of brands are making high-rise bottoms and it has become essential for me lately. These Spray Dye High Waist Leggings are made out of a lightweight fabric that is both breathable and very soft on the skin.
